YCARES EZ-APP Sliding-Fee Scale Financial Assistance

With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA ensures every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. We welcome all who wish to participate and believe no one should be denied access to the Y based on their ability to pay. The YCARES scholarships, provides assistance on a sliding scale to youth, adults and families based on individual needs and circumstances.

Determining assistance amounts is handled in a fair and consistent manner. Every YMCA member receives the same membership benefits, regardless of whether or not they receive a scholarship. YMCA members can feel confident knowing they are a part of an organization that cares greatly for the well-being of all people, and is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

YCARES is funded through the generosity of our members, volunteers, and community donors. In order to make a reasonable and consistent determination of assistance, the Y requests that individuals provide all of the required documents. All information provided will be kept confidential.

How to Apply:

1. CLICK HERE to Apply Online! SIMPLE & EASY! Once you apply online, you will be given an estimated percentage off your membership. Kindly stop by the YMCA's Welcome Center to drop off all of the supporting documents to your application in order for your application to be processed.
2. Fill out an EZ App- Complete the EZ financial assistance application and submit it to the Y's Welcome Center.
