Our Vision
Our vision is to aid those in a crisis, eliminate homelessness and empower individuals and families to a life of sustainability and self-improvement.
Our Mission
The Raritan Bay Area YMCA’s Center for Support, Success & Prosperity provides holistic support for individuals and families facing crisis or homelessness, addressing medical, social, emotional, and housing needs. Since 1912, we have been a catalyst for positive change in Perth Amboy, connecting people to essential resources and fostering community support.
Our Impact
Thanks to our generous community partners, we continue to:
- Address food insecurity through our weekly food pantry, street outreach, and meal distributions
- Provide emergency shelter for individuals and families in need
- Partner with the city of Perth Amboy to provide Code Blue Services during the winter months
- Assist families with rental aid and housing support
- Help individuals transition into permanent housing
- Provide case management, benefit navigation, and connect vulnerable individuals and families to vital resource
- Support seniors in improving housing stability
- Help families strengthen relationships through our programs and community workshops
- Provide hundreds of transportation rides for essential services
