The RARITAN BAY AREA YMCA provides a safe, affordable, and fun day camp for preschool, elementary school, and middle school youth. The camp experience is one of wonder and exploration. Camp is packed with activities that fill summer days and offer independence and adventure. At camp, kids live and learn the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Campers and CITs will be provided a healthy lunch and snack daily.

FEES**: Registration: $30.00 (Fee waived until May 1st)
Weekly Fee: $150.00/Member
$170.00/Community-member
15% sibling savings & financial assistance available. Sibling savings does not apply to Before & Aftercare. 3rd party subsidy accepted. **The Y believes that cost should never deter someone from attending our programs. Youth Leaders & Junior Counselor In Training
YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM Pre-teens age 13
Youth Leaders In Training is an exclusive program designed to give selected students (13 years of age) an innovative summer program that focuses on leadership training, teamwork, self-government, and volunteer opportunity to help build confidence – and connections. Youth Leaders In Training consists of leadership training and actual work experience with a small group of campers under the supervision of a YMCA staff person. The program will give youth the opportunity to take the roles as leaders while in the Summer Day Camp. Your child will:
- Meet other youth
- Build new skills
- Participate in your community programming
- Plan for the future
- Obtain innovative skills through Public Speaking
JUNIOR COUNSELOR IN TRAINING Teens ages 14-15
The Junior Counselor in Training Program is designed to give selected students (14-15 years of age, grades 8 thru 10) the opportunity to learn and develop leadership and program skills while in the Summer Day Camp Program. This program is for those students who are interested in learning about leadership and responsibility. The program consists of training and actual work experience with a small group of campers under the supervision of a YMCA staff person. Maturity and a sincere desire to work with children are essential.
All participants have the opportunity to shadow our Day Camp leaders and develop leadership skills. Space is limited.
