The RARITAN BAY AREA YMCA provides a safe, affordable, and fun day camp for preschool, elementary school, and middle school youth. The camp experience is one of wonder and exploration. Camp is packed with activities that fill summer days and offer independence and adventure. At camp, kids live and learn the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Campers and CITs will be provided a healthy lunch and snack daily.

Before Care: $20.00 per week 
After Care:  $30.00
B&A Combo: $40.00 ($10 Savings)

15% sibling savings & financial assistance available. Sibling savings does not apply to Before & Aftercare. 3rd party subsidy accepted.

Splish-Splash Camp offers the opportunity for beginner and intermediate swimmers, who love to be in the water, a chance to strengthen their skills!! Splish- Splash Camp will emphasize personal safety tips in and around water. In addition, campers will have fun playing water games. (Goggles will be available for purchase at the YMCA.)

Sports Trio Camp exposes campers to different sports. They learn skills, with an emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork, to compete in popular sports such as basketball, baseball and soccer.

Swim Team Ready Camp- After learning the basics from the first camp, campers learn technique, safety and swim team work.

Martial Art Ninja Camp is a great way to introduce your camper to martial arts. They learn fundamentals of martial arts like rolls, punches, and kicks in a safe environment while emphasizing discipline, respect and teamwork.

STEM & COOKING-Top Chef Jr. combines the best of STEM and cooking. Campers learn to cook and food chemistry.

Olympic Swim Camp- After clearing the basics in the first swim camp, technique from the second, this camp will have your child ready for the Olympics. If they missed the first two camps, No problem as everything will be taught again.

Youth Leaders & Junior Counselor In Training

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM       Pre-teens age 13

Youth Leaders In Training is an exclusive program designed to give students (13 years of age) an innovative summer program that focuses on leadership training, teamwork, self-government, and volunteer opportunities to help build confidence and connections. Youth Leaders In Training consists of leadership training and actual work experience with a small group of campers under the supervision of a YMCA staff person. The program will give youth the opportunity to take the roles as leaders while in the Summer Day Camp. Your child will:

  • Meet other youth
  • Build new skills
  • Participate in your community programming
  • Plan for the future 
  • Obtain innovative skills through Public Speaking

The Junior Counselor in Training Program is designed to give students (14-15 years of age, grades 8 thru 10) the opportunity to learn and develop leadership and program skills while in the Summer Day Camp Program. This program is for those students who are interested in learning about leadership and responsibility. The program consists of training and actual work experience with a small group of campers under the supervision of a YMCA staff person. Maturity and a sincere desire to work with children are essential.

All participants have the opportunity to shadow our Day Camp leaders and develop leadership skills. Space is limited.
