Membership Categories Managing Your Membership Facility Age Requirements A.W.A.Y Guest Policy Locker Rental & Personal Articles Guest Passes & Gift Cards Registration, Program Cancellation, Changes Healthy Membership Child Watch Financial Assistance Membership Categories Family Membership 2 adults and up to six (6) dependent children under 22 years of age who are full- time students living in the same household (Valid I.D. must be presented). Adult Membership For ages 23 and older. Adult members have full access to the YMCA facility.Single Parent Family Membership- For a single parent and any children up to six (6) under 22 years of age living in the same household (Valid I.D. must be presented) Senior Adult Membership For ages 62 and older. Senior Adult members have full access to the facility. Young Adult Membership For ages 13-18. Young adult members have full access to the facility.

To change type of membership, a $25 processing fee will be charged to the individual's account.

Managing your Membership Methods of Payment: • Annual memberships are paid in full at the time of registration and expire 1 year from date of payment.
• Monthly draft is a payment plan that allows you as a member to pay the membership fee on a perpetual basis in equal, monthly payments that are automatically deducted from a checking ac count or credit card.
• Monthly payments are drafted automatically on the 1st of each month unless the 1st is a holiday or weekend. In this case, the payment is drafted on the next business day. Draft member- ships are continuous and do not expire.
• You may cancel your perpetual membership at any time by providing the YMCA with written notification and filling out a cancellation form no later than 30 days in advance of the final draft date. Once a monthly draft is cancelled you have 45 days to rein state the membership without being charged the enrollment fee.
• Membership fees are subject to change, members will be notified in advance.
Membership Cards: • Membership cards are issued to all members. Members ages 13 and older are required to have a photo taken for the membership card. Children under the age of 13 will also have an ID without a personal photo.
• Membership cards are not transferable.
• If a card is lost, a $5.00 fee will be charged to replace it.
• Membership cards MUST be presented upon entering the facility and MUST be worn at all times.
Enrollment Fee: • Enrollment Fee is a one- time fee due in full upon joining or rejoining.
• Enrollment fee is non-refundable.
• The enrollment fee is an investment in the future of your YMCA. It provides financial assistance for qualified individuals and funds additional equipment purchases to ensure that the facility meets the needs of the Y community.
• If you cancel your membership you have 45 days to reinstate without being charged the enrollment fee again.
Transferring/Canceling Membership: • Membership is only valid at Raritan Bay Area YMCA
• Membership fees are non-refundable
Switching classes After a member has registered for a specific class and wishes to switch classes, a $10.00 processing fee will be charged. If the switch is due to a class promotion, there will be no charge.

Facility Age Requirements Gymnasium 2-8 years old with parent, 9 years old without parent. NO children under 2 permitted unless participating in a programmed activity. Pool Children under 14 years of age must be supervised on the pool deck at all times by a parent/guardian who is 18-years of age or older, except during scheduled instructional sessions. Children under 6 years of age who do not pass a swim test must be accompanied in the water with a parent/guardian who is 18-years of age or older at all times and must be at arm's length, except dur ing scheduled instructional sessions. Adult lap swim is for ages 18 and older. Track 2-8 years old with parent, 9 years old without parent. NO children under 2 permitted unless participating in a programmed activity. Steam Room - Whirlpool - Sauna 18 years of age and older. Child Watch Ages 3 months to 11 years. Wellness Center 14 years old with an introduction by an instructor.

A.W.A.Y Guest Policy The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is an active member of the A.W.A.Y. program. A.W.A.Y. stands for "Always Welcome at YMCA's". This program entitles YMCA members privileges at hundreds of YMCA's across the country, according to their policies. Please stop by the Welcome Center for more details.

Locker Rental & Personal Articles • Full and medium size lockers are available to rent in both male and female changing lounges for a monthly fee. Please see Member Services for more information.
• The YMCA is not responsible for any personal articles brought to the YMCA. If you are using a locker for the day you MUST take the lock off when leaving the facility. The locks that remain will be removed nightly. Members may use a locker at your own discretion.

Guest Passes & Gift Cards Guest passes may be purchased by a member to bring a friend as a courtesy. Guest's name will be filled out when receiving the pass and proper I.D. will be required. Guests must be accompanied by a member. Adult Guest Pass: $15.00 per person
Teen Guest Pass: (13-17yrs) $10.00 per person
Child Guest Pass: (1-12yrs) $10.00 per person
Gift Cards for membership or programs may be purchased at the Welcome Center.

Registration, Programs Cancellation, Changes Registration • Pre-Registration is required for all programs.
• Membership cards must be presented to register and must be valid through the entire program session.
• In-person registration on the first scheduled day of registration will take priority over mail-in or drop-off registrations.
• Programs are subject to cancellations based on registration.

Within the facility we will offer an array of programs and activities for all ages.Through a Healthy Partner Membership at the Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy, your employees will participate in health and wellness activities that are designed to strengthen spirit, mind and body while contributing to the overall wellness of your company.Healthy Partner Members are full members with complete access to all our facility and group exercise classes. Studies show that workplace wellness increases employee productivity, increases employee morale, reduces absenteeism, lowers health care costs and reduces medical claims. Our team will be happy to visit your organization to enroll employees as members and complete a thorough application process, along with answering any questions about the YMCA and the services and amenities available to you and your team.We would love to help your company achieve your goals.

Child Watch Child Watch is free for members to use. You must be in the building and can leave your child in Child Watch for up to 2 hours. No outside toys or food are permitted. Monday - Friday: 9 am - 1 pm, 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 3 pm, Sunday: 9 am - 2 pm
Guidelines for the Raritan Bay Area YMCA Child Watch Program: • Members may use the child watch for a maximum of two (2) hours. Members MUST remain in the building while their child is in child watch.*
• Please alert staff if your child has a specific medical condition or allergy.
• When signing your child in or out of our Child Watch you are required to sign a clipboard indicating your child's name, age, your name, and your location in the building.
• Please be sure that ALL items you bring are clearly labeled so we can keep an accurate account of your belongings.
• Child is NOT permitted to bring outside toys or games. The YMCA will not be held accountable for lost or stolen objects.
• Sick children will NOT be accepted into the Child Watch.
• Will provide changing services for infants. Please provide all neces sary items for your child's needs.
• All infants should be brought in with strollers or car seats when in Child Watch.
• No food is permitted in the child watch area.
*If a Member should leave the building while their child is in Child Watch, then the child by law is deemed abandoned and must be reported to the Police.

Financial Assistance The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is committed to providing our life-changing services to all health seekers who desire to participate. Y CARES is a confidential program specifically for families that are unable to qualify for financial assistance outside of the YMCA. Financial assistance is awarded based on income and demonstrated ability to pay.
