Daniella Vargas, CF-L1 USAW-L1SP

Fitness Coordinator

Daniella has been a life-long athlete since her youth and has participated in various sports including basketball, soccer and softball. She started her fitness career training youth ages 3-12 and coaching Girls High School basketball.  She started doing CrossFit in 2014 and has never looked back. She credits CrossFit with teaching her the importance of taking care of her body in order to fulfill her God-given purpose.  What she enjoys most is coaching others to be the best version of themselves each day. She is also a Personal Trainer and USAW L1 Olympic Weightlifting Coach.

Why Do I CrossFit? – It keeps me accountable to my body, the vehicle that carries me to my purpose in life.

Favorite CrossFit Movement? – Sled pushes

Random Fact About Myself – I love to dance and eat pizza, sometimes both at the same time.


Joel Morales, CF-L1

Program Coordinator

Joey’s training started in Martial arts, where he achieved a black belt at the age of 14 and since then has become a 4th degree /dan black belt in TangSooDo Moo Duk Kwan. Joel enjoys the team work and camaraderie atmosphere and continues to push himself and others, "I love pushing and helping others accomplish goals and feats they otherwise thought they couldn't do". Currently, Joey is  a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, TRX Certified and 4th degree BlackBelt in TangSooDo.

Why Do I CrossFit? – CrossFit is my passion and gives me peace

Alberto Diaz, CF-L1

Alberto is a homegrown athlete, born and raised in the city of Perth Amboy. His career in fitness began at the age of 16 when he was hired at your Raritan Bay Area YMCA. Quickly growing passion in the field he became a personal trainer to better the lives of others. Now a CrossFit coach, Alberto wants to take members to a higher level of fitness and put them in charge of their own future. As in all walks of life, "rest if you must, but DON'T YOU QUIT!"

Why Do I CrossFit? – I CrossFit because I am a firm believer in practicing what you preach. CrossFit preaches community and safe exercising; combining both creates an atmosphere for success.
