Health and Wellness Program Descriptions Personal Training At It's Best Wellness Center Hours Wellness Center Rules Health and Wellness Program Descriptions Shape Up Total body workout combining athletic inspired aerobic drills and body sculpting exercises using a range of equipment including dumbbells and steps. Body Flow Experience the perfect combination of yoga, pilates and tai chi during this personal "time out" where you will increase strength, burn calories, improve flexibility, and focus your mind. Aqua Tone High and low aqua aerobics with muscle toning and interval work. Hard Core Abs This is a 30-minute intense workout focusing on a variety of exercises for your abdominal muscles in order to achieve and maintain rock hard abs. Fitness Swim Whether you are considering a triathlon or not, get your total body workout in the pool. This lap-swimming program is designed to work and lengthen every muscle group while performing non-weight bearing cardiovascular exercise. This is not an instructional class but gather together with people similarly interested in mixing up their fitness regime. Perfect for adults interested in triathlon training. Must be able to swim at least freestyle, breaststroke, and back stroke. Body Pump The original barbell class. This athletic based class uses barbells with adjustable weights to work every major muscle group in the body. Real results real fast. Body Combat The fiercely energetic martial arts workout where you are totally unleashed and empowered. Build strength, speed, and stamina while changing the shape of your legs, butt, arms, back, and abs. Intro to Body Jam This is a 30-minute introduction to the hottest dance class around. The instructor will break down the moves to help you familiarize yourself with the class. Once you have a taste of Body Jam youÕll be thirsty for more! Body Jam Loose yourself in this dance inspired cardio workout to the latest dance styles and hottest new sounds. Body Jam has a flava all of its own. From a true hip-hop feel to fun disco cardio and Latin sounds, this class will inspired you to get loose! Balance & Stretch Discover the YMCA in a new way. Health seekers can come together with friends new and old to have questions answered about exercise, sleep, stress, food, faith and more. Learn ways to make healthier choices and achieve balance in your life. This exciting program will involve a discussion series as well as physical activity designed to renew your mind, body, and spirit. Let the YMCA give you the tools you need to be the positive change in your life and the lives of loved ones around you! Spinning Spinning (indoor cycling) offers a great workout for those looking to take their cardio to the next level. In 45mins you will tone your legs and core muscles. Once you take this class consider yourself hooked! Sports Circuit Get results through fun and fast intervals of circuit training. Stations consist of resistance training, cardiovascular training, and stability exercises designed to keep your workouts fresh and expose you to exercises you can do on your own. Interval Step We got it goin' on! Combine total body toning with this aerobic step class for a complete workout experience. Step aerobics are fun, high energy, and perfect for torching calories and sculpting your butt and legs. Resistance exercises give participants a chance to tone their upper body as well. Finally, we finish you off with an intense abs routine. Catch As implemented in our after school programs, CATCH is a comprehensive program where kids ages 5 to 12 participate in all-inclusive, non-competitive, vigorously active games. In the CATCH program, kids also learn about healthy eating habits and lifestyles. Youth Hip-Hop Love to dance? Learn the history and the how-to in this high-energy hip-hop class with performance opportunities. Parents are welcome to join their youngsters (ages 5 to 12) as we put the freshest moves to the latest music. SWET (Serious Workout for Every Teen) Teens get a serious workout from an experienced group fitness instructor. Set to the hottest music, take your fitness to the next level while having fun. Workout includes cardio dance, mixed martial arts, and more! This program meets in the gym on Mondays at 6pm and Saturdays at 11 am.

Personal Training At It's Best The time is NOW! Personal training at the YMCA is affordable and convenient. Let your own personal trainer guide you on your health seeker journey. Certified and professional personal trainers will assits you by tailoring a program that is challenging yet flexible to work with your schedule. Session packages include a complete fitness evaluation, discussion about your fitness goals, resources such as nutritional education, excersise programs fit to your specific needs and follow up from your personal trainer and the HEalth and Wellness director to help keep you on track to being the best YOU!Contact Health and Wellness Director Jackie Sienkiewicz for information.

Wellness Center Hours Monday - Friday: 5:30 am - 9:45 pm Saturday: 7:30 am - 5:45 pm Sunday: 7:30 am - 4:45 pm Wellness Center Rules • Members must be at least 13 years old to use fitness center. • Be sure to atttend a fitness center orientation. • All gym bags, coats and jackets must be placed in lockers. • Always wipe down equipment after use. • If dong multiple sets, allow others to use equipment in between sets. • Proper work out atire must be worn - shirts and shoes must be worn at all times/no sandals, flip flops, jeans, etc. • Always re-rack the weights.
