Afterschool Program The YMCA Afterschool program provides licensed child care every day school is in session. We offer a safe, healthy, and structured environment with supervised activities. Our Site Coordinators and Counselors are all First Aid and CPR Certified. Hours of operation are from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. including half days. The YMCA provides services for three Pre-Schools, five Elementary Schools and both Middle Schools, in Perth Amboy. During our fun-filled day, participants enjoy a nutritious snack along with homework assistance and many inclusive, non competitive and high energy programs. The Raritan Bay Area YMCA, in partnership with the Horizon Foundation, provides CATCH, a Coordinated Approach to Childs Health. Your child will have an opportunity to meet friends, play games, read, study, create and relax in an enjoyable environment. Holidayhaven In an effort to support the hard working parents of our community, the YMCA Holiday Haven offers a convenient opportunity to have your child (ren) in a safe and fun-filled environment on days in which schools are closed. Children will take part in activities such as sports, movies, swimming, arts & crafts, indoor/outdoor games, etc. While the YMCA provides an afternoon nutritious snack, parents are asked to provide their child (ren) with a healthy bagged lunch. Holiday Haven is open to students in all schools in the Perth Amboy, Sayreville and South Amboy areas (public and/or private schools). Parent Handbook
